A novel about one family’s experience of the Iranian revolution of 1979 and the time under Ayatollah Khomeini.
This novel was originally written in Dutch is very educational about struggles within Iran at this time. It describes how one family tries to cope with the challenges of balancing secular and religious life.

This is a fascinating insight into some of the historical struggles during a turbulent time in Iranian history.
